Wee Planets

by Alexandre Duret-Lutz.

Hello, I am Jeremy. Thank you for dropping by.
A few months ago I stumbled upon the Wee Planets on flickr and immediately took a great liking to them. So much indeed, that I decided to create this website and even make use of the Creative Commons licenses to build upon these images and design these uber-cool Wee Planet Clocks.
I hope you will like them as much as I do...

Wee Planets is a collection of original panoramas from Alexandre Duret-Lutz.

Using a sophisticated transformation process, Alexandre first builds a 360-degree x 180-degree panorama, then projects it to look like a small planet.

Expressed in technical terms Wee Planets are "stereographic projection of equirectangular panoramas".
